There seems to be scoops taken out of granite. The symmetry and precision isn’t done by this method. It’s a joke

When we went there we were told they first put dry wooden slits into the rock and soaked them with water so the rock cracks as the wood expands.

It’s possible they chipped away at it with water and stone maybe.While it wouldn’t make the biggest difference it may have helped especially long term

I think 🤔 there used hammers 🔨 taken the stone 🪨 made into a hammer or a rope and swing platform and make it easier . 🤔
