@thehomesteadhomeschool: I think I was born to do this. To raise a family and work at home. I’ve never in life felt as much passion towards something in life as I do this. It’s really no describing it and I get emotional just thinking about it. I have wanted it for as long as I can remember. My grandmother grew up on a farm and she couldn’t get off the farm fast enough. She married young and never looked back. I can remember as a child her telling me stories of farm life, getting up early milking the cow. I always said I’d love that life. She always told me “no you wouldn’t”. I could never fathom why she wanted to leave that lifestyle. I have always imagined what it would be like… and yes it is backbreaking work but God knows it’s beyond rewarding.
