Genuine question. I’m pro choice. What are the abortion laws like in Germany? Trying to get an answer from someone who lives in Europe.

I am so sorry for all the tiny babies and their mummies for being forced apart so early. These little ones should have all the contact naps they need.

Good points! But why do they leave the car seat in daycare and not in the car?

1/2 Hi! Confused Aussie here: why would you remove an infant’s car seat from the car & leave it at daycare?

I’ve never seen car seats lined up outside of a daycare in New Jersey. Is this common in other states?

a neighbor had a 3 year old in daycare when she had a baby at home. she'd bundle up baby to bring big brother to daycare.

In Sweden you can’t even get daycare until the kid is 12 months.

I don’t get paid maternity leave after baby. My friend in Germany is already getting paid maternity leave at 5 no pregnant because of high risk of flu

meanwhile in the US us parents who work are desparate to get kids in BEFORE 3mo (my state child care starts @ 3mo) because how bad maternity leave is.

It actually makes me so sad, especially the amount of kids who have died in daycares, I’m grateful to be able to care for my kids at home

Um why are people leaving their car seats?

Bex :
People leave the car seats so their spouse or sitter can pick up the child. Car seats are expensive and not everyone can have two

I want to work at home and stay home with my kids I'd have to lie to my employer and say they are at daycare even though I'm not on phones

It’s huge to have these areas for the infant seat because they can get so hot or cold in the car. Glad they have that.

Also, usually if parents split drop of/pickup both their cars have separate carseats here.

We had a daycare at our Uni for students and they took infants in ( starting at 8 weeks old) so the parent can continue his/her education

At my work we take infants at age 8 weeks old and most of the time outside the classroom there like 10 car seats. Parents just have a base in each car
