Stir continuously for about 5 minutes, until the butter becomes foamy and turns golden brown. Transfer it to a small bowl and let it cool. 	⁃	In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled brown butter, brown sugar, egg, pumpkin purée, and vanilla extract.
