It taste burnt because that is how Starbucks beans taste I would recommend getting get different brand from someone local that roast in your state

Just look at Amazon and type in espresso accessories and just make sure the espresso beans in the bag are fresh and not been sitting there for months

I like to use a fork after I put all the coffee in the thing and just mix it around so there’s no clumps (since I don’t have a thing actually do it)
