alot of programs come with their own driver software updater. its even better on a premade linux distro (like manjaro) as you get those while updating

My laptop has Intel hardware and the Intel drivers sometimes give me fun errors. Gotta install and test one at a time with rollback protection.

This advice here is gold. Automatic driver updaters cause MOST of the blue screen software related problems.

For GPU updates, get the software off the manufacturer website. Never had a problem since
