Sharks will continuously replace their teeth throughout their life so if you get lucky you can actually get to see one fall out. The main times sharks drop their teeth are when they pop their jaw like this, bite or bump into each other, as well as when they eat or bite onto any hard surfaces. With the dives I do we are in 400 feet of water so there is only a quick moment I have to race down and catch it before it is claimed by the sea forever. Often when I swim down to catch them, there are other sharks that follow you down wondering what you are chasing after😂 So it is very important to be very aware when I dive down for these teeth as it can be quite dangerous. It feels like winning a prize each time I catch one and I will never grow tired of it🦷🦈
