I'm so cold, the thought of opening a window, especially when showering, makes me cry

Or just get a positive input ventilation fan in the ceiling above the stairs. Completely cures any damp as constantly pushes air out of the house.

I don't open windows or use vents, dry all my washing inside. no damp, lived here 26 yes and I think a warm house is what stops damp.

thanks. I live in Ireland and weather is damp all the time. How can air vent help me? Outside is more humid than my house?

not to pick hairs buddy, kitchen extractor that expells outside will help, the recirculation units push a lot of moisture back into the room.

I fitted a NUAIR airflow system in the loft to push air into my bungalow through a ceiling vent.£450. Brilliant. Transformed the air quality.

I am very happy with the dehumidifier at ALDI. Less humidity means it feels colder.

I had a piv unit fitted about 3 weeks ago. Since then , no mould issue, no condensation issues anymore and the air feels much better.

Do you have a video about positive input ventilation? We just bought a house with a converted loft and discovered a BAD problem with mould.

Old houses used to have drafty sashes and open fires that got the house very hot. We then sealed them with UPVC and limit the heat with thermostats
