@ruthpilatesstudio: I love this short box exercise, and doing it on the mat is so hard but so rewarding! This movement is a great way to nail down your hip hinge, strengthen your abdominals, hip flexors and even glutes! I recommend ankle weights or a partner to help anchor your feet down, and hands behind the head is a bit more manageable than straight arms here, but try it both ways and see what feels best for you!
