@blossomandbranchfarm: If you’ve started lisianthus with me (oh, you haven’t? Head over to our YouTube to learn how to!), you may be wondering about spacing! We usually plant them a bit tighter than usual recommendations (thanks for that tip Meg @reddaisyfarm!), no more than 4” apart. That spacing does a couple things: -minimizes weed pressure -shades the roots as the plants grow to decrease irrigation needs -taller stems as they compete for sunlight -these are too heavy plants that tend to tip, so planting close together (still with netting too!) helps keep them from falling down as they provide each other with support!
