I have to get a wisdom removed. Dentist said they won’t pull unless I have bone graft because of a nerve. Went to another dentist they said it’s optional for me but up to the surgeon. Idk who to believe.

They are trying to upsell people who aren’t even getting implants to get bone graft they’re very painful and unnecessary if you don’t want an implant don’t do it

I had my last baby tooth removed like 5 years ago (I'm almost 36now) and the doc didn't do a graft bc underneath my gum, there's the permanent tooth!

I had one in prep for my implant. it got infected. so it was removed and have to go through it again on the same day as the implant 🥺
