I can’t watch this without tearing up because I know the pain I was in and I wish I had been kinder to myself. I can see the moment where I looked at myself and said “suck it up, princess”. in the first video, I had been crying. I’d failed another “day 1”, I’d promised I’d stick to my diet, and I ended up bingeing. my face felt so puffy and swollen I tried to put makeup on to make myself feel better and I didn’t know if I genuinely had another day 1 left in me. cut to now - I no longer fear food or see it as an enemy. I don’t get scared of cravings (in fact, I lean into them) and I’m so much happier and healthier. the difference? - I stopped cutting out carbs - I started eating consistently and ENOUGH - I moved in a way that felt energising to my body instead of depleting it - i stopped living in all-or-nothing - i built habits I could actually keep on my worst days If you’re reading this and feel like a failure, you’re not failing, you’re learning and I promise you, one day this version of yourself will feel like a lifetime ago 💛
