I’ve never seen it done that way. I remember using a paste & rotating them through laping. Perhaps it’s a new way 🤷♂️

Will definately stick with my Hall-Toledo and Snap-on egg beater type valve lappers. Just as good a job.

A far cry from my workshop days, the old swizzle stick did the same job, albeit a bit slower, plus there are more valves per cylinder now 😏
