Running a Small Business: The Realities Behind the Scenes! ✨ Hey everyone! Today, I want to talk about what it's really like to run a small business – the parts you don't always see on social media. It’s honestly amazing, but wow, it takes a LOT of time and effort. 1: GAINING FOLLOWERS - First of all, getting followers? Not as easy as it looks. I’ve had to dive deep into understanding the algorithms across platforms – TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, Facebook, and of course, Etsy. And trust me, each one has its own quirks! The algorithm changes constantly, so I'm always analyzing my stats, comparing each post, and figuring out what works. Every day and every post teaches me something new. 2: Content Creation is TIME CONSUMING (😭) - Then there's the content itself. Creating videos, photos, and ideas for posts takes so much time! And I’m always thinking, “I need to shoot this” or “That would be perfect for a video.” Just coming up with new ideas and keeping things fresh takes experience. But honestly, I'm learning so much through it all. 3: setting up a shop takes a LOT of time - Setting up the shop took time, too! From getting codes to handling all the tax paperwork, there’s been so much behind-the-scenes work to get everything in place. And even though I've only had a handful of sales so far, there’s still tons of admin work – tracking each purchase, managing business expenses, and more. But honestly? I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love watching it grow, learning as I go, and dreaming about all the things I still want to make. Late at night, I’m often lying awake, thinking of the next idea – and trust me, I have so many ideas! 😄 #contentcreator #algoritmoinstagram #startingasmallbusiness #SmallBusiness #EtsySeller #reality #startingabusiness #smallbusinessadvice
