@midnight.ritual: This is what real life alchemy and witchcraft look like! This homemade wood stain is super easy and uses stuff you might already have. We eyeballed all of our ingredients: Vinegar Steel Wool (we used leftovers from sanding other items) Coffee grounds Method: 1. Mix everything together in a container with a lid. 2. Leave to steep for an indeterminate amount of time. The internet will tell you leave it for a few days, but if you forget about it and accidentally leave it under your sink for a month, that's okay too. 3. Strain it out a couple of times. 4. Put it on some wood and watch it oxidise! The cool thing about this stain is that it doesn't include any alcohol or chemicals, and the stain comes out beautifully. We can't wait to experiment with different things! The only downside to this is that it does smell pretty bad when you're using it and the timber will have a slight vinegar tinge to it for a while. Thanks @The Wandmaker for the inspo to post this 😊 #witch #woodcarving #woodstaining
