@yongweikai: [NEW HK CHA CHAA TENG IN NOVENA WITH DELICIOUS PEANUT BUTTER FRENCH TOAST] Hong Kong Day 香港地。茶记 Dropped by the newly-opened HK Cha Chaan Teng @hkday.chakee today and I was blown away by how delicious their Peanut Butter French Toast was. Soft, fluffy and I love the peanut butter hidden inside the toast. Goes really well with the generous slab of butter atop. Comfort food really, thanks to the cold weather. I like their milk tea cos you can decide the sugar level (they give you sugar on the side) yourself and I can do without any sugar. It was fragrant and good for me. Just nice cos the peanut butter French Toast was sweet. Also ordered their Char Siu Scrambled Fried Rice. Eggs were done perfectly but it would have been better if the fried rice had wok hei. Lack the fragrance if you know what I mean. But with the fluffy egg it was good. Eating it alone wasn’t that great. Char Siu was not bad but can be more tender lah. Will come back for their Bolo Bun and Egg Tarts during my next visit.
