@skitchplease: I’ve had AS pretty much my whole life but was constantly told I was doing it for attention when complaining about my symptoms I wore a neck brace for a month when I was younger and doctors thought I had “sprained it”. There was no trauma. I would have to bring a a pillow to school just to sit down in class because my tailbone was so inflamed and sore, I couldn’t even sit down. I would constantly have to limp because my knees would get stabbing sensations (mostly my left) and I could barely walk I’ve been to the hospital numerous times for these problems, 7 doctors, and 34 years later I am diagnosed. I can’t reverse the damage this disease has done to me over time, but I can slow it down and be hopeful I will go in to remission! ##ankylosisingspondylitis Don’t let anyone gaslight you in to believing “that’s normal, everyone has pains” because it’s dangerous for people who have conditions that could harm literal vital organs!
