If you look at the list of meds the atty put out some were to treat bipolar dis. But if you aren’t honest with your doctor they can’t help

I was diagnosed with adhd as a teen. Later misdiagnosed as bipolar for years when it was actually a combo of undiagnosed Hashimotos w adhd, cptsd.

She was on lamictal so clearly someone thought about bipolar disorder. Nobody said she wasn’t bipolar. They said she wasn’t psychotic.

I think my husband was more than 20 years b4 diagnosis- he’s BP2 so it looks like MDD, also medicated with alcohol when young so looks like alcoholism
