With just 1 cat, 4-6 mo old and overnight is ok, but leave a TV on with the nature channel or cat TV. Have her looked in on every other day,

When I had cats, I left them overnight when they where over 1 yr old. If I was gone longer I would have my sister check on them every 2 days.

I've left my cats alone for a week lol. I have automatic feeders with cameras though to check on them.I can afford a pet sitter now so I do that.

I’m a cat sitter and it really depends on the cat. When they’re the only cat I recommend having someone stop by each day.

It depends on the cat. If you have an automatic feeder and water fountain a few days is probably ok. And 4-5 months?

I don’t leave my cats alone. I go to work yes and I go out, but if gone overnight or longer someone comes over daily or I send them to a sitter.

i won’t do longer than 24 hours without a sitter and even that is pushing it for me😅 as a fellow helicopter cat mom i worry too much

since im a student i leave my 3 months raggie 6 hours everyday expect the weekend, while my parents are at work. all he does is sleep all

I've had cats my whole life and one thing I learned about that is literally a life saver is get them a giant cage. I don't mean a crate, or a dog cage

i feed my cat in am and pm not constant food source so i never leave her w out someone to watch/come to feed her

once they outgrow the kitten phase it's easier, but I would recommend getting them a buddy before you consider going away for more than 24 hours

My cat is now 8 and I’ll leave him overnight, MAYBE two nights and I’ll put a pet cam on him lol. I don’t like him being alone more than 2 days

I always leave out way more food and water than needed. like a whole bag of food and huge pots of water. I put them all in different places.

We have two cats 14 and 2, and we started leaving them alone after our youngest got sterilized at around 10 months. We leave them max 2 days alone🐈

The first time my cat was alone he was 8 months maybe? Two nights for a weekend. He yowled at us for an hour straight when we got home. Did it again

For a 24 hour period of time, yes; any longer, no. We've done it with our cats before, & they were fine for one night.

12 - 24 hours is a no brainer, 48 hours is easy if you have an auto feeder. get a catcam if you're truly worried!
