@the.word.addict: I'm fixated on crepe paper this week, and oh my gosh, this makes the prettiest ruffled page edging for #junkjournals . As I was making the crepe paper roses, I realized that this would make an awesome page ruffle. I pre-made a whole bunch of strips in a whole bunch of colors and put them in a box for future use. Just glue the ruffle to a book page and tear the strip at about 1 inch wide. you can incorporate that book page strip into your design, or you can trim the book page portion right off so that only the ruffle shows. What I really like about this is the pretty "braid" to the left of the ruffle. This is what happens when I allow myself just to play without an end goal in mind. There is more to come from this crepe paper exploration as there is so much potential with this in an #artjournal and #junkjournal .
