@homesweetpink: I almost always recommend the Cricut explore air 2 over the explore 3. I don’t utilize the matless cutting and I don’t think the speed increase is worth $100. However, if you are hoping to start a business with Cricut made items, the speed difference might be worth the $100 to you. Both machines can cut the same materials, they use the same blades and cut at the same intricacy level.
