I was dying to try Habik for Women by Lattafa Perfumes after seeing so many reviews. It’s marketed as a floral fruity fragrance and touted as a dupe for Versace Dylan Purple — which happens to be one of my top 10 favorite scents. 💫 The Scent • Top Notes: Juicy Pear & Bergamot • Heart Notes: Lily of the Valley, Jasmine & Freesia • Base Notes: Oakmoss, Amber & Musk At first spray, Habik really does remind me of Dylan Purple — the fruity sparkle of pear and bergamot comes through right away. But very quickly, there’s a peppery kick that I personally didn’t enjoy, and it lacks the sparkling sweetness I love in Dylan Purple. As it develops, Habik leans heavily on oakmoss and pink pepper, while Dylan Purple stays brighter and more floral. To be honest, the oakmoss is what ruins it for me, and it isnt heavy on the pear and florals. Still, in the dry down, you can definitely tell they’re in the same scent family. Cousins, not sisters.
