How do u test for leaks? Imagining some kind of hose with a huge nozzle that mimics the water pressure depending on where on the hull they’re testing.

fun fact, the Eukor ship at 2.02, delivered machines in LA that came from both ire/uk, then I collected one of them and brought it to San Francisco(1)

Probably a dumb question, the ballast tanks are they lined with paint or other things that prevent corrosion since you are bring in salt water ?
