I just tied up the ball valve if there was no valve on the tank, but if I was to add a valve it would usually go in the hot press

I Always put a lever valve in as in a few years time the Balafix o ring will weep and cost you a ceiling.

If u get a 16mm spanner then it makes it easier to do the rad tails rather than using adjustables
