@mikegarson: Burt Bacharach has passed away. He was an extremely gifted writer with a beautiful understanding of classical music and form - one of my favorite songwriters whose music I grew up with. Burt asked me to be the pianist for his Broadway show Promises Promises. Like an idiot, I turned it down. This is a portion of Alfie, my favorite song of his from a performance I did with Gail Ann Dorsey in 2004 on a day off touring with David Bowie in Australia.
