wait is this normal in your country? never heard of that & I've been judging competitions since 2018 (🇸🇪)! we always do pre/post judging & stage.

I honestly don't trust some judges because some organizations pick judges based on photos. Sometimes they don't even craft their own costumes.

Do you know how to safely wash a cosplay? I’m scared the dye will stain other fabric and only wash pieces with a single colour with water and soap

I have been a judge before and was not allowed to judge pre judgeing even though I craft my own cosplays have won craftsmanship awards & I was free.

Yeah I’ve been a guest where they didn’t want me to pre judge and just wanted me to show up on stage to judge. They want you at your table :/
