@growithjessie: Dandelions can’t get wet? 🌼 Dandelions eventually turn into puffballs, and when you dip them in water or oil, they don’t get wet! The structures collapse, but won’t break when you release it from the liquid. Eventually, all those beautiful flowers turn to white globes of exposed seeds, and as the wind blows, the seed structures break away from the flower head, disperse into the air, and fall on the ground to germinate and grow more dandelions! That’s the reason why they pop up everywhere! The plant can last for 15 years! Some people even make a wish on a white puffball, as each time you wish upon a dandelion and blow the seed structures into the wind, you’re sending 50-100 seeds into the air. If any of the seeds take root, it is said to reflect the foundation of the roots of your wish.
