My theory has usually been, its its inside the engine or is critical to the engine running correctly, it gets torqued.

It’s all up to the tech. Most torque stuff like exhaust manifold bolts, flywheels, motor housings, spindle nuts, etc. just up to preference.

torque to yield with a regular ratchet lots. Lots of imports you're not getting up to proper torque without wrecking bolts/threads.

when I first started, an older tech cracked the rear structure by using 1/2 gun. I'm not doing that.

Yup, It happened to me on the first one I did. Since then I always torque them. It’s a pain to re do them.

ACDelco oil filter torque spec is 1 yote or 360° after gasket touches metal

I've never torqued anything down and I'm yet to have something fail on me. I have snapped a few bolts though 😂

With the Isx 15 can you run through everything you need do to fully delete those motors? I’ve heard you need to swap turbos if you rid scr/dpf
