This year, I want to live my school life differently. I don’t want to get caught up in unnecessary noise, pointless arguments, fake friendships, or the constant need to prove myself to people who will probably forget about me the moment the school year ends. I just want to be quiet, focused, and peaceful. I want to walk into my classroom every morning with a clear mind, sit in my place, listen carefully, take my notes, understand what the teacher is explaining, and leave without getting involved in things that have nothing to do with my future. I have realized that not every conversation deserves my attention, not every person deserves access to my energy, and not every situation deserves a reaction. Sometimes, the strongest thing you can do is simply stay silent, keep your head down, and continue working toward what you want. I want this school year to be about discipline, patience, and progress. I don’t want to waste my days trying to impress people or looking for attention. I want to become comfortable with being the quiet person in the classroom, the one who doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed. I want to be calm even when everyone around me is talking, laughing, arguing, or creating unnecessary drama. I want to learn how to separate myself from all the distractions and protect my peace. There is something powerful about sitting quietly while knowing exactly what you are working toward. I don’t need everyone to understand me. I don’t need everyone to like me. I don’t need to explain why I’m changing. I just need to stay focused on the person I want to become. This year, I want to take my studies seriously. Not because I want to compete with anyone, but because I know that my future depends on the choices I make today. Every lesson I understand, every page I read, every exercise I solve, every test I prepare for, and every hour I spend studying is another step toward the life I want. I know it will not always be easy. There will be days when I feel tired, days when I don’t feel motivated, days when I would rather put everything aside and do nothing. But I want to learn to work even when motivation disappears. I want discipline to become stronger than my mood. I want to stop waiting for the perfect moment to start and simply do what needs to be done. I want to come home after school and know that I gave my best. I want to revise instead of wasting hours scrolling through my phone. I want to prepare before exams instead of waiting until the last minute. I want to understand my mistakes instead of being ashamed of them. A bad grade should not be the end of the world. It should be a reminder that I need to work harder and change the way I study. I want every failure to teach me something. I want every difficult subject to become a challenge that makes me stronger. I want to look back at the end of the year and know that I did everything I could. Most importantly, I want to make my mother proud. She deserves to see me succeed. She deserves to see all her efforts, sacrifices, worries, and prayers turn into something beautiful. There are things mothers do that we sometimes don’t notice. The little questions about whether we ate, whether we studied, whether we are okay, whether we need anything, and whether we are doing well. Sometimes we don’t realize how much our success means to them until we see the happiness in their eyes. That is why I want to work hard. Not only for a grade written on a piece of paper, but for that smile on my mother’s face when she sees me achieving something I worked for. I want to make her feel that her efforts were never wasted. I want her to see me becoming responsible, independent, and capable of building my own future. Maybe I won’t always be able to give her everything she deserves, but I can give her my effort. I can wake up every morning and choose to work. I can stay away from distractions. I can study when I feel like giving up. I can keep going when things become difficult. #ifeelyou #schoolmemories
