We moved to Vancouver and wedding venues are waaaay cheaper here than anywhere we found in Ontario! I would recommend just doing it anywhere else lol

And this is why I’m glad I don’t really have that many friends, and most of my family lives several states away so they probably wouldn’t come anyway. Our wedding is gonna be small, maybe 50 ppl at most, I’m gonna get a secondhand dress online, gonna get a Walmart cake, rent a church/church cafeteria as the venue, and get the catering from somewhere with rly cheap but yummy food. I’m too poor to afford any of the extra stuff. I only get $20k in my pocket after paying taxes/insurance, I’m not spending more than like $2-4k max.
