idc what detergent I am using I always use less than I think I do especially if it is a load that have soap on fabrics already (ie wash/dish clothes)

Take a dried clean sock or wash cloth; add water to a Tupperware container and shake. If you see suds, then the soap didn’t wash out.

I can attest to the rashes. Two tbsp of powdered detergent & 1/4 cup of vinegar instead of fabric softener. Only time I add soap is to grease stains.
