switched to purina over a month ago. was getting about 2 dozen a day before hand. Now we get maybe 4 eggs a day. Pulled just 2 today

we feed Purina laying pellets, cracked corn & cheap cat food in a mix. our chickens are not free range & they never stopped laying. 12eggs/day

Explained this I have 5 young hens 2 laid a couple eggs then stopped and have not got any eggs since. That was 2 months ago other3 never laid any?

I mix one bag of layer pellets with one bag of chick starter. 16% is not enough protien for laying chickens. Have had chickens almost 20 yrs.

Only 2 of my hens stopped laying for about a months but that’s because they were molting. The others never stopped and I feed them dumors
