@houseplusplant: Aphids are so gross 🤢 but also quite easy to treat 🙌🏻 They are hard to spot at first because they blend into the stem so well and are tiny. They’ll look like little green bumps on the vine. Sometimes you’ll even spot their white exoskeleton before you spot them! By spraying the plant down you’ll knock a lot off, but for good measure I added systemic granules (to make the plant toxic to them) and sprayed down with Dead AF to kill any remaining. I’ll continue to spray weekly until I know the systemic has kicked in — so for about a month to be on the safe side. I’ve only ever had aphids on my string of pearl plants which I think is so strange! Even the plants nearby don’t get them.
