It is an incredible documentary that had us in tears throughout 😭 Emma's words captured something important that so many women with endometriosis feel; the pressure and expectation to be an advocate as well as a patient 😔 The reality is that if we want a timely diagnosis, the correct treatment and life changing surgery then we must become the expert 🤓 Advocacy shouldn't be a requirement for receiving good care but that is where we find ourselves 🤯 So while diagnosis delays, misinformation, and dismissal still exist, knowledge can help us navigate a system that isn't always easy to access.
