@emmafituk_: tired but not stopping ✋🏼 First things first, let me tell you loud and clear right now… no matter how much you tell yourself a crash diet is going to help - I can confidently tell you after YEARS of coaching women to lose fat and keep it off…. A short-term quick fix fad diet will leave you worse off than where you are right now 1️⃣Yeah you’ll lose scale weight. But that scale weight drop is literally from water and having less volume of food in your tummy. Sure you’ll lose a little bit of fat but you’ll also lose some muscle (and your mind) which leads me onto point number 2
2️⃣Hardcore restriction always ALWAYS leads to food obsessions, extreme hunger, disordered thoughts around food and binge eating. I’m telling you now, a crash diet will inevitably end up with you gorging on the food you’re cutting out - which will leave you feeling guilty, frustrated, bloated and the cycle will begin again
3️⃣You will down regulate your metabolism which means your body will adapt to the minimal calories you’re eating. & then to continue seeing fat loss you’ll have to decrease them again and again and again. To the point where it’s just extremely dangerous and unhealthy. Also, as soon as you start eating like a normal human being again, your fat cells will SOAK up that surplus of food and subsequently create MORE fat cells; which makes each subsequent ‘diet’ in the future harder and harder!
🔁 you will end up in this toxic cycle of seeking the next fad diet, wasting your money, feeling frustrated, developing disordered eating and ending up back at square 1 ⚠️THEY DONT WORK PEOPLE!!⚠️ Start creating good healthy habits with your nutrition instead of adopting the all or nothing mentality and seeing food as “good” or “bad”. Stop seeking for the quick & easy secrets for fat loss because there aren’t any!!!! A moderate calorie deficit consisting of nutrient dense foods, quality proteins and delicious food to satisfy your cravings is the BEST way to lose weight whilst enjoying the process and maintaining your results long term💗💘 #stopdieting #stopdietculture #tiktoktrending #tiktoktrend #stopfaddiets #healthyweightloss #howtolossweight #weightlosstips #howtolostbellyfat
