As someone in the UK who regularly gets professional nail art done, the US is wildly overpriced. Here they’re £35-£60 at most.

There is a massive price difference for nails in the UK compared to USA but I have paid up to £50 for say two handpainted nails within a whole set

So many people in the UK don't want to pay anymore than £30 for nails but they'll happily pay £50 for make-up that gets wiped off the same day!!

My nail artist was award winning and she worked for herself. I paid 120 for full set gelx. I always tipped well but that’s what she charged.

Maybe they mean basic nails. I pay $40 - $45 CDN for a fill but they are not this amazing. I love them though lol
