the worst designed toilet. I replace 13, 22 year old wall mounts w/ carrier but I replaced with a Gerber maxwell wall mount with pedestals.

I have the same wall mount, it’s worked well since it’s install in 2003. Same set up you just did. I’m not fond of the flush assist.
