I've just had the exact same thing. I had painful cramps and light pink spotting which turned to brown. Called the midwife help centre twice over 24 hours and was told it's fine and totally normal. The next day, my husband and I went for a walk hoping to ease the cramping, then went for some dinner. As I got up to leave the restaurant, I felt a huge gush and genuinely thought I must have wet myself. Got the the toilet and I had been trailing blood as I went. There was blood and clotting everywhere. I kept crying and apologising to the poor cleaner as my husband was trying to rush me out to the car to get to the hospital. I have my scan and bloods booked for this morning and am hoping with everything I have that my baby is safe.
