I think the glue is the fastener and the screws just act as a clamp until it dries

Please place both hands on the machine, with the work piece properly secured. No hands in front of the fence.

For home users you can’t beat the pocket hole jig for like $30, cheapest biscuit jointer is $80 and $250+ for a good one

both have their place. strength isn't it. proper joinery is way stronger. if u want fast and strong domino is the way to go

Biscuit joints add negligible strength, their main purpose is for alignment.

I love biscuits. Biscuits at breakfast, as a snack... Oh? Those aren't the same biscuits? I might have bought the wrong machine... 😳

Doesn’t add much strength, it’s more for panel alignment.

I worked in a cabinet shop. Our primary joint was a locking rabbit. Our other connections were biscuits and Confirmat screws.
