My dad always did that , so I do still. Also taught me to do my baseball glove. Still have it 45 years later

yup! as someone who used to fight wildfire and break horses and to this day work outside mink oil is the way to go

My dad taught me how to use that on my leather baseball glove. It was his glove as a kid. I loved doing that.
