Soft close hinges work better. This will eventually cause a wear mark on the back of the cabinet. However, this is easier than installing new hinges

replace the hinges. these will pull your hinges loose after a while.

It will damage the doors overtime and your doors will be misaligned. Just replace the hinges

Ours lasted about 9 years. Easy to replace by just removing the gray plunger.

Keep in mind these only work on doors that do not have visible hinges.
