@aureliemaron: Mini tutorial on how to create a star animation in Procreate 🌟 If you know me, you know I use this shape in most of my lettering pieces ;) That’s why I’ve included it in my free brush pack available on my website! So here’s the step-by-step: ✦ Create a new canvas (mine is 1,000 x 1,000 pixels) and hide the background. ✦ Use your star stamp brush and make your first star right in the middle of the canvas (make sure Magnetics and Snapping are activated). ✦ Click Actions and turn on Animation Assist. ✦ On each new layer add a bigger star and make sure it is perfectly centred (all you need to know here is that one layer equals one frame of your animation). ✦ Continue to add layers until you have at least 8 layers so the transition looks nice and smooth. ✦ On your last layer, add some drops on the star’s corners and a dot in the middle to make it look like the star has disappeared. ✦ Press play and watch your animation come to life! ✦ Change the speed if needed by adjusting the Frames Per Second. ✦ Click Share and export it as Animated GIF. Check out my YouTube channel if you want to learn how make Instagram GIFS.
