@_aclassic_ Saltwater story 👇👇 – Featuring @cjduffie22 I am originally from Miami Florida, but I’ve been traveling the world as a spearfishing guide for the last 3 years. I also own Neritic Diving, a spearfishing equipment company that specializes in Polespears. I only make gear that I would personally trust and use with my clients while targeting trophy fish in remote locations. This was one of the MOST AMAZING underwater encounters I have ever had. This massive Bull Sea Lion was snacking on the bait that was using his body to hide from the relentless attack of Mahi. His other Sea Lion buddies started snacking on bait off his body as well. @_aclassic_ Saltwater story 👇👇 - Featuring @faustohfontana This is a life time fish for me. I’d like to start thanking the whole crew, this is not a solo capture I wouldn’t be able to land this fish without the effort of the crew @captnvan @ajkeelan and @allforadventure1 We managed to find this beautiful creature during a trip from PNG through the coral sea towards Townsville, but don’t think it’s all glory days, we were having a hard time fighting against sharks, pretty much losing any catch to them. Just on the day before I had one of the most exciting days in the water diving on the blue and also at same time frustrating after not land any of my three shots. First one I’ll be posting soon I happened to stone shot the fish, everything perfect until the moment I realise the shooting wire broke once the shaft was fired, and fish got depleted by sharks in 30 seconds. On the next dive Theo borrowed me his gun and I poked a shot on a 20ish kg doggy, looked sn easy shoot, but I got a terrible placement and shaft just pulled off. Believe me or not I had a third chance on the same boomie just seconds later, a 10kg doggy came right on the flasher in 7m of water. What else a spearo could ask? I know I didn’t come on this trip for that fish but I was so frustrated with the other failures that I decided to give a go, but this time I didn’t even hit the fish. I know it wasn’t my gun, but I got really disappointed on myself, until this morning when Theo went for a shot in a 30kg doggy where he aimed the head and hit the tail, end of history the shaft was bent from a previous fight. Well, another sunrise, another chance. I woke up in a good mood ready to jump in the water, maybe I just had a feeling what was to happen.
