Cabbage Rolls 📕Recipe here: ❂ Ingredients: 1 Napa Cabbage (10-12 leaves) 1 1/4 cup Jasmine Rice 1 Carrot 1/2 Onion 1/2 bunch of Scallions  1/2 inch Fresh Ginger 3 Cloves of Garlic 1/2 Chili pepper  1/4 cup Soy sauce  400g. Mushrooms Sesame seeds  Salt/Pepper to taste Sauce: 1 Tsp sesame oil 1 Tsp Chili pepper  1/2 Tbsp ginger minced 1 garlic cloves minced 2 Tbsp Tamari 1 Tbsp rice vinegar  1  Tsp maple syrup  1/2 cup (120 ml) water 1/2 tbsp cornstarch ❂ Cooking process:  ⁃ Trim off the root of the cabbage, carefully take off the leaves one by one, bring a pan of water to boil, blanch the leaves for 1 minute or so until soft and flexible, yet not soggy. Then quickly ran them under cold water to cool down.   ⁃ In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat, sauté the onion, garlic, ginger, chili pepper,carrot, mushrooms, scallions and soy sauce. Then add cooked rice and mix well.  ⁃ Place 1 1/2 tablespoons of filling to the bottom of each cabbage leaf. Roll until you reach the wider part of the leaf, then fold up both sides to the center and continue rolling to the end.  ⁃ Pan-fry the cabbage rolls for 2-3 minutes each side until golden brown.  ⁃ Make a sauce: Heat oil in a saucepan, then add ginger, chilli pepper, garlic, tamari, rice vinegar, maple syrup. Let it cook for about 1-2 minutes. Mix the water with cornstarch to make a slurry and pour it into the skillet. Cook the sauce for a few more minutes until thickened.   ⁃ Pour the sauce over the cooked rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds and greens!
