How To Make Hand-Dipped Beeswax Candles 🕯 For 14 pairs of candles: 🕯1 kg (2.2 lbs) of natural beeswax 🕯organic hemp candle wick 🕯pitcher for melting 🕯big pot 🕯metal washers 🕯support for hanging the candles (dryer for noodles) 🕯scissors 1. Melt the beeswax. In a pot placed over medium heat, slowly melt the wax placed inside another jug. The pitcher should not touch the bottom of the pot. Fill the pot halfway with water. After the wax becomes liquid, move the pitcher to a pre-prepared and covered table. Periodically, you will need to reheat the wax, monitor the amount of wax in the pitcher, and, if necessary, add spare wax sticks so that the level of melted wax always covers the length of the candle. Then the candles will be more accurate. 2. While the wax is melting, prepare the wick by cutting it off as long as two candles, plus a few inches in the center. Tie a weight to each end. 3. Dip your candles into the wax. Keep dipping your candles by holding the center of the wick, dip both sides of the wick into the hot wax, and admire them as they build up layer by layer. Take the candles out of the wax and let them harden before putting them back in by placing them on a dryer. Washer weights are necessary to give the candle the correct shape. Then, after a few dives, you can remove the washers, and the bottom of the finished candle will turn out cone-shaped. Continue dipping until they are the girth that you desire. 4. Let the candles dry for several hours. Tie pairs of candles with twine, and store them in a cool, dry place.
