How do you wash yours? I find that as soon as I wash it with soap the oil/wax seal all but disappeara

I recommend you do the entire board with both oil and wax as the underside can also get too dry and crack.

I just put some olive oil on mine, leave it 10 mins, wipe excess and then leave overnight. Seems to work!

Never use mineral oil. It comes from petroleum. There’s better natural oils to use on wood! It’s a gross over purified oil.

You can use mineral oil from the drugstore. It’s less than $10 for a gallon. Just apply less and give it a good blot

End grain blocks are best bc the grooves accommodate blades more, reducing dulling and dents!

I’ve had an end grain board for 4 years and never treated it with anything but soap and water. No cracks or other issues. 🤷🏽
