Everything is writing. Everything is to be read. The stone can be read, And the clouds tell us a story. Sad, labored alphabets, Stringing vast histories. Even my hand hides within it The forgotten writing of a hymn. I stand alone in thought, O Lord, And my thoughts are letters. I try to reconstruct a sentence, But my time transforms the writing.
