Just twist them together and then wrap half a roll of electrical tape around it

if you have that kind of tension at a joint, you have bigger problems. either method works fine

I use a crimp style, heating the wire during soldering makes it weaker and more prone to losing connection overtime

If solder melts with a heat gun it’s not real electrical solder

Theres a reason we use crimp connectors almost exclusively in aviation.

You should check out spli-seal. It’s a great replacement for heat shrink

crimp will last way longer, solder in a vibration area will break at the solder joint

I'm a diesel electrician and I tried the solder connectors and they're useless, customers don't like them either

Talking about this company like they aren't just relabeled shit from Alibaba 😂. At least recognize it for what it is.

They actually make combo solder, crimp, & heat shrink connectors all in one. I use them all the time

Just twist the wires and throw a wire but on them! And you must use a extension cord to wire your lights. 😂

Crimps are stronger and more reliable than solder joints. There’s a reason race teams don’t solder things

both ways work and both seem to hold a good connection. for me tho it's easier to get my Crimpers out and just crimp them. That's my personal opinion.

solder is heat sensitive & can fail. if you do get solder to flow enough it will not bond. some low heat connectors don't melt before the outer shield

I always use the crimp connectors at work because they're easier and heat is a dangerous thing in a cotton mill.

I started using the solder style almost a year ago bc we were having problems with the crimp ones corroding Haven't had that issue with the solder one
