Having two tracks in the same track is very common. The lights weren’t working, neither was the radio. Communications have been faulty for 20 years!

Greek here. The responsible for changing the train track lost his key and couldn't change them. He didn't think it's important so he didn't report it.

they manually change trains on tracks, like it's 1960. they bought a GPS system 20yrs ago with tax payers money but never got it installed

first of all the train has so high speed that it takes atleast 10 minutes for the breaks to stop the train,and second of all, welcome to Greece
