How many times have you moved⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ JAPAN IS WONDERFUL! Everything is fine!! Don’t over analyze or make it a bigger deal than it is please 🙏 Japan specifically has never been my dream! My dream is to see the world, learn from THE WORLD , make memories and have fun! I’ve been having fun here but this is only one chapter of my story! today is almost exactly 3 months from my official move back date but hecause I am visiting home for Xmas, I’m starting to take things back to limit luggages this spring. No I don’t agree with the US govt, yes ik things are expensive, aware of crime rates, etc etc.. so the world is stacked against me- as a Black woman, what’s new? 😂 my happiness and success in itself is a protest. I will flow through the world going wherever I wanna be whenever I wanna be there 🤷🏽‍♀️ and as someone who identifies as Black (yes bringing race into it) my only culture is within my southern roots. I can’t identify with previous ancestors in Africa or something because of how the diaspora happened, so MY culture and MY heritage and my family and cultures history is there along with people who I intend to make more memories with. Remember while living in Japan forever may be your dream, it’s not everyone’s so be kind. Yes I am still welcome to stay if I want to. My contract was for 1 year and is about to be re-upped indefinitely and my school asked me to stay alottt 😂 but they respect my decisions 📌 how’d I come to Japan? How much does it cost to live here? How much do I make?
